American singer/songwriter Joseph Arthur is a Grammy nominated artist that we are truly privilege to have performing at The Old Stables.  With only one other UK tour date this is a unique opportunity to see this remarkable performer live. Discovered in the 90’s by Peter Gabriel and Lou Reed, he has a musical pedigree unparalleled by many with 15 albums to his name.

His new album with REM guitarist Peter Buck called Arthur Buck 2 was released in October 2025 and his new solo album, You're Not a Ghost Anymore, will be released in April 2026.  But many of you will have heard his material featured in soundtracks to many films including The Bourne Identity, Bone Collector, Shrek 2, and American Pie 3.  His songs have also been covered by Michael Stipe of REM and Chris Martin of Coldplay as well as Peter Gabriel.

The finesse of the compositions and the richness of the orchestrations make Joseph Arthur one of the best American songwriters of the XXI century.
